Brent Buchanan started his career well before he could drive. In order to attend a summer mission trip, 8th grader Brent scouted rare Beanie Babies (remember those?) at retail stores then sold them door-to-door to his neighbors at a significant profit.
Since then, he has been a network engineer, operations manager, political consultant, government relations director, pollster, and started four successful small businesses. One particular company, Cygnal, has seen year-over-year gross profit growth of 55-60% every year for the past four years straight. The firm started as a do-it-all political shop and eventually niched down to just providing polling, voter identification, and market research, which resulted in exponential growth by subtraction.
After seeing success in his own businesses, Brent started coaching other entrepreneurs – and solopreneurs – about mindset, habits, communication, systems, and goals to help them breakthrough to significant growth.
Believer, Husband & Dad
Brent views business and money simply as a tool to serve others. His first priority is eternal – serve Jesus Christ always. Next comes his relationship with his incredible wife, Becky. Together the two have five young children ranging in age from 9 to 2. When not busy with church or kids, the Buchanans shepherd six Katahdin sheep and one massive Akbash sheep protection dog – plus their ferocious six-pound miniature dachshund. Brent and his family enjoy travel, missions work, reading, the lake, and a good movie.
